Bethesda has finally confirmed today that their Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5 consoles on April 7th. As rumors have already revealed, the standard edition will cost €49.99, while the Premium Edition for €69.99 will bring two expansions in addition to the main game.
Starfield will have special support for the DualSense controller features on PlayStation 5 consoles, while it will have improved performance on the PS5 Pro console.
The game will launch with a new update called Free Lanes. The update should fix one of the biggest complaints about Starfield by allowing you to continuously travel from planet to planet without initiating menu travel.
In addition, Free Lanes will bring new locations, a new vehicle, modifiers for opponents, additional upgrades for vehicles and weapons, etc. All these updates will be free to existing owners of the PC and Xbox versions of the game and integrated into the PS5 version.
As for paid content, the Terran Armada paid DLC is also coming on 4/7. This expansion will follow a new story about a conflict with a robot army.
